Zacharia acknowledged in an October 15 interview that she had not passed the bar exam. Popular Information's search found no admission in any U.S. state or D.C.; the White House supplied no licensing evidence. She has a Pepperdine law degree and cited work in China, but those facts do not establish admission as an attorney. She herself distinguished the label lawyer from attorney at law.
Brazil and the United States use different voting systems, deadlines and counting procedures. A difference in reporting speed does not establish election fraud.
PolitiFact found examples of Talarico eating animal products and his denial that he is vegan. No evidence supported the allegation about vomiting.
PolitiFact compared the original remarks with the later explanation. The earlier forecast concerned the military operation overall; the nuclear-only description changed its scope.
CSIS documented depleted missile inventories and multiyear replacement timelines, exposing vulnerabilities in a potential Pacific conflict. AP's reporting also identified interceptor shortages.
AP calculated roughly 22% of global reserves, or 19.6% of crude production, for the two countries combined. Neither supports 60%.
Seizure totals measure intercepted shipments, not all trafficking. AP found the cited comparison covered two months and did not establish a 97% reduction.
AP confirmed the employment record while noting that growing payrolls frequently reach new highs.
The people raising AI concerns include technology executives and figures across party lines. PolitiFact found that the blanket description misrepresented this varied group.

One outlet never sees the whole story. Follow published checks and new reporting from multiple newsrooms.
These are source articles, not additional verdicts. A report can contain several claims, repeat an existing one, or check a claim about Trump rather than by him. Only assessed propositions enter the record above.
Feeds are selected and may omit stories. AP reporting is included when syndicated through a monitored outlet. This is not an exhaustive archive, and the worker does not independently investigate each lead.

Desk / 02 — Commitments under review
A selected catalogue of campaign and second-term commitments, with sources, deadlines and delivery assessments. This is not every promise he has made.
An order, a law and a delivered outcome are different milestones. Assessments retain their source dates; older findings are not new investigations. Research scope & corrections
PolitiFact's assessment dated 2026-10-26 is Promise Broken. This status is automatically indexed. Open the publisher's updated record for its reasoning and supporting evidence.
The $2 trillion figure was Musk's campaign-era savings target. AP later reported claimed DOGE savings far below that amount and unresolved verification questions. This record is retained as an associated target, rather than assigning Trump an independently verified, unconditional $2 trillion promise or a final audit finding.
The campaign proposed a free online institution funded from penalties and taxes on large university endowments. The statement is documented, but the research assembled here does not establish a current operating institution or a sufficiently complete implementation history to assign a delivery verdict.
Agenda47 committed to advocating a constitutional amendment. A resolution was introduced in the 119th Congress, but that alone does not establish the extent of Trump's advocacy. This record does not substitute a stricter promise to achieve ratification for his promise to push for it.
Trump attached the payment to a Republican congressional victory. Reuters reported that the roughly $1.2 trillion cost exceeded available tariff receipts and required congressional action. The election condition had not yet occurred at this record's October review.
ABC News reported that the promised payments had not materialized ten months after the announcement. The later $5,000 conditional proposal is recorded separately because its amount, eligibility and election condition differ. Stalled is this tracker's assessment, not an ABC rating.
Enforcement expanded, but the available removal data did not establish the promised scale. PolitiFact reported substantial gaps in public deportation data.
The reserve remained depleted. Releases associated with the Iran war moved its level further from the promised refill.
Promise → power → policy → result
A slogan is not an outcome. This chain separates the original words from the government action and the measurable result.
A categorical commitment to eliminate federal taxation of benefits.
The president could advocate for the change but could not deliver it alone.
The 2025 law lowered taxes for some older taxpayers through a separate deduction.
The policy provided partial relief without fulfilling the literal promise.

The standard
We preserve the narrowest fair quotation, date, venue, and full original context.
We separate measurable propositions from opinion, rhetoric, promises, and predictions.
Primary documents and official datasets come first. Contradictory evidence stays visible.
Original research draws on primary records and reporting from multiple outlets. Imported ratings name their publisher. The live source watch also collects published fact-check articles and reporting leads; those articles do not add to our assessed claim count. Publisher import revision history.
Desk / 07 — Change log
A verdict can change when the evidence changes. We distinguish factual corrections from ordinary research additions.
No factual correction has been logged in this edition. When one is required, the original wording, replacement, reason and date will remain visible here.

Trump Claim Tracker is an independent left publication documenting Donald Trump’s public claims. Our perspective is disclosed; our sources are open to inspection.
We assess discrete, consequential propositions that can be supported or contradicted. We do not rate pure opinions, obvious hyperbole, or preferences as facts.
Verdicts describe the available evidence—not motive or intent. “Unsupported” means sufficient evidence has not been produced; it does not automatically mean a proposition was disproved.
We preserve material changes with a date, explanation, and updated evidence. Send corrections to corrections@trumpclaimtracker.com.
