What the evidence shows
BLS reported that CPI-U rose 2.7% over the 12 months ending June 2025 and 0.3% in June on a seasonally adjusted monthly basis. A single category or a rounded short interval can show no change, but the broad national measure did not.
False. Both the year-over-year and monthly headline CPI measures were positive.
