What the evidence shows
The prediction’s deadline was January 20, 2026. EIA retail series do not show a greater-than-50% national decline in gasoline, residential electricity, or the major residential energy-price measures over that period. Electricity prices in particular did not halve.
False. The stated deadline passed without the promised across-the-board reduction.
