What the evidence shows
The Obama administration declined to provide lethal weapons but committed more than $1.3 billion after hostilities began, including vehicles, radar, night-vision equipment, body armor, medical equipment and training—not only bedding. Misleading. The lethal/nonlethal contrast is real; “only blankets/pillows and sheets” erases substantial nonlethal military and economic aid.
