Voting by mail necessarily means cheating

Investigations and research do not establish widespread fraud as an inherent consequence of mail voting. Verification procedures exist, and isolated illegal votes do not support a categorical allegation.

Pelosi rejected Trump’s offer of 10,000 National Guard troops

The House January 6 committee found no evidence of such an offer. Acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller testified there was no presidential order to deploy 10,000 troops. The Speaker did not command the D.C. National Guard. See the committee final report and FactCheck.org’s evidence review.

Pence had unilateral authority to return or reject electoral votes

Pence’s contemporaneous letter concluded that the Constitution did not give a vice president unilateral authority to decide which electoral votes count. The vice president’s role was ministerial under the governing framework. See Pence’s January 6 letter and the bipartisan congressional reform clarifying that the presiding officer has no unilateral power, Electoral Count Reform Act summary.

Trump won the 2020 election “by a lot”

Biden received 306 electoral votes to Trump’s 232, and the states certified Biden’s victory. The Trump administration’s DOJ and DHS found no evidence that foreign actors manipulated results; litigation alleging a stolen result did not establish outcome-changing fraud. See the DOJ-DHS joint statement and the Campaign Legal Center’s case inventory.
